Check in seconds whether you are within the age limit for a government job in Pakistan. Enter your date of birth, the closing date of the advertisement, the age limits and any age relaxation you are entitled to. The calculator shows your exact age on the closing date and whether you are eligible.
How to use this calculator
- Enter your date of birth exactly as on your CNIC or matric certificate.
- Enter the closing date of the advertisement. Most government posts count age on this date.
- Enter the minimum and maximum age given in the advertisement.
- If you qualify for age relaxation, enter the number of years allowed.
- Click Check eligibility.
Example
A candidate born on 15 March 1994 applies for a post with an upper age limit of 30 years and a closing date of 10 November 2026. On the closing date the candidate is 32 years, 7 months and 26 days old, so they are above the limit. If the advertisement allows a 3-year relaxation for which they qualify, the effective limit becomes 33 years and they are eligible.
Important notes
- This calculator treats the maximum age as completed years; for example, a 30-year limit means age must not be more than exactly 30 years on the closing date. Some advertisements word this differently, so read the advertisement carefully.
- Relaxation categories and years are decided by federal and provincial rules and are stated in the advertisement.
- Supporting documents may be required to claim relaxation.
